Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an eager Business Development Representative to assist our broader Sales team around administrative and internal organizational efforts in the Eastern region, Western Region, or Central region. You will play a fundamental role in helping our team achieve our ambitious revenue growth objectives while partnering with Internal Sales Associates and Regional Directors. This role reports directly to our Internal Sales Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to kickstart a career in sales as you develop the backend skills and education that builds a strong sales foundation.

As an ideal candidate, you have internship experience in a business development or a strong team orientated role in a high-growth environment. More importantly, you’re thrilled by the challenge of building and perfecting the operational tempo of a high-performing partnership for your regional team, your larger sales team, and the Vestwell organization as a whole. You’re exceptional at organizing competing priorities and adapting to a flexible and fast-paced environment. We’re a growth stage startup after all. Last, but certainly not least, you’re driven by a fresh perspective and entrepreneurial spirit.


The Necessities

  • Internship experience preferably in a business development or administrative support role
  • Excitement in developing strong communication skills initially with internal efforts followed by external efforts around phone, email, chat & social queues
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, support and guide multiple team members via clear written and oral communication
  • Self-starter who can operate well in a collaborative team environment
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce, comfort level with other Sales technology
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, adapt to changing needs, and tackle new challenges daily

The Extras

  • Understanding of the defined contribution space a plus!
