Senior Product Manager
Oviva
Product
Germany
At Oviva, we’re on a mission to make sustainable, personalised, clinically effective care accessible to everyone as we build Europe’s leading AI-powered chronic care platform. Our digital programmes help people manage weight-related illnesses by focusing on what matters most: improving health, building confidence, and enhancing quality of life.
To date, we have supported over one million people across the UK, Switzerland, and Germany. Our mission is powered by a dedicated team operating across four countries, including our hub in Poland. Every conversation, coaching session, and line of code brings us closer to a healthier future.
As we scale, we’re looking for Senior Product Manager to lead our Long-Term Habits & Gamification squad. If you’re the kind of PM who gets genuinely excited about what makes people stick to new behaviours and how AI can make that more personal, more timely, and more effective, this might be the most interesting role you’ve seen in a while.
The Role
You’ll own one of the most nuanced parts of the patient journey: keeping people motivated and building habits that last. That means working with clinical and behaviour change experts to design personalised plans, rewards, and nudges that actually move the needle on long-term engagement and using AI to make those interventions smarter over time
This isn’t a role where you’re handed a roadmap and told to execute. You’ll help shape the strategy, run your own research, and take full ownership of the outcomes. You’ll be part of the team building Oviva’s behavioural change engine, a genuinely novel AI-powered technology at the core of what we do.
About You
- Deep experience in Product Management within mobile-first, consumer-facing environments where user engagement and retention were the primary outcomes, not just features shipped.
- You thrive in ambiguity. You make strong decisions with partial information and don’t need everything figured out before you start.
- Outcome-oriented through and through. You have a track record of moving KPIs and creating real user impact.
- Strong product judgement, rooted in data, insights, and direct user feedback. You know when to trust the numbers and when to trust your gut.
- Comfortable defining measurement frameworks, designing A/B tests, and building tracking from scratch.
- You can develop a long-term strategy and break it down into milestones that engineers, designers, and clinical experts can all get behind.
- AI-literate. You understand where and how AI compounds value both in the products you build and in how you work day-to-day. Whether you’re a hands-on AI user or a sharp strategic thinker about where it creates leverage, you’re not leaving it to someone else to figure out.
Bonus Points If You Have...
- Experience in digital health or behavioural science
- A background in leveraging gamification to drive real business metrics
- Experience building community-based product features
- German language skills, an advantage as we grow in the German market
Drive the Strategy
You don’t wait for a plan to land in your inbox. You analyse where patients struggle, identify the gaps, and design solutions. You’ll contribute directly to product direction, not just execute against it.
Lead Discovery
Run your own qualitative and quantitative research. You’ll develop a genuine understanding of Oviva’s patients and use that to build things that work in the real world, not just in testing.
Solve Technical Challenges
You’ll partner closely with engineers to build modern mobile features. You know how to find smart, pragmatic ways to work within existing technical systems without losing ambition.
Connect Clinical and Tech
You take complex clinical rules and translate them into clear directions for developers. You make sure doctors and engineers are working toward the same goal, in a language both can understand.
Move the Metrics
You take full ownership of engagement depth, retention, and NPS targets. You use data to prove what works, and you iterate relentlessly until it does.
Use AI Where It Matters
Whether that’s building AI-powered features into the product or using AI tools to sharpen your own thinking and productivity, you see AI as a genuine multiplier, not a buzzword.
