We are looking for a results-driven, high-performing and confident Manager to join our Finance team, and you will be expected to work in fast paced environment to deliver on accounting, reporting & analytical fronts. In addition to day-to-day accounting & reporting, Manager will supervise 3-5 people, bring in relevant technical accounting expertise, assist in formulating sound financial strategies, implementing appropriate internal controls, implementing industry best practices, and developing financial plans that support organizational strategy.
Responsibilities
- As a manager, you would be required to manage deliverable of 3-5 team members involved in day-to-day Accounting, Book-keeping, and Reporting as per the extant GAPP (US, IndAS or IFRS)
- Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Statements; Consolidation of various entities to deliver the Group’s results quarterly, and annually.
- Bring in requisite expertise around technical accounting issues such as Revenue Recognition, Consolidation, Stock Options, Business Combinations, MTM accounting, and other accounting matters (IFRS & US GAAP)
- Legal Entity Management – Entity’s jurisdiction-specific reporting, accounting, tax & compliances. ● Experience of setting up Processes, Policies & Procedures, Control Framework turn of, etc.
- Coordination with External Auditors, Audit Committee and other relevant teams in/out of the organization.
- Hands-on knowledge of working /operating in an environment with ERP (like NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
Success
- As a Manager - Finance, you will help the team w, streamline & consolidate Finance & Accounting processes and ensure real-time & accurate financial information to all the stakeholders.
- Bring in requisite IFRS, US GAAP expertise and guide the group through various changes, restructuring and product launches.
- Manage Legal Entities w.r.t. their Regulatory, Statutory, Management & Tax deliverables, filings.
- You will be required to work very closely with Trading, Trade-Ops Teams & External consultants to ensure best financial outcomes for the organization.
- over the course of time, build SME knowledge (from accounting, reporting, regulatory perspectives) of the environment the firm is operating in.
- Ability to multi-task, work effectively under pressure, prioritise, and manage workload to meet internal needs
Required Qualifications
- Preferably a Chartered Accountant
- Prior working experience of 7-12 years in a similar industry (Banking, Broker-Dealer etc.) and specifically with the Trading division.
- Has managed a team of 3-5 resources in past and was responsible for their delivery and their performance.
- In addition to managing regular accounting function (book-keeping, payables, receivables, reporting, payroll etc.) has been part of Accounting Advisory /Technical Accounting kind of role in past.
- Expert knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP reporting standards and its application.
- Hands-on knowledge of working /operating in an environment with ERP (like NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
- Understanding of E2E Trade Flow & related dynamics (Settlement, Market-making etc.)
- Enthusiastic, Self-starter, and Detail-oriented with excellent analytical & problem-solving capabilities and with strong verbal and written communication skills
