SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Sr. Corporate Accounting Manager, the Sr. A/P Accountants Payable Accountant will be the focal point on all accounts payable related activities, including researching variances, 3-way matching, weekly payment run, and A/P invoice accruals to support our high growth organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee full cycle A/P Activities, reviewing all invoices and payment runs.
• Monitor Accounts Payable in box to ensure all invoices are vouched on time.
• Lead annual 1099 reporting requirements.
• Work closely with purchasing department and other functional group to resolve any issues and variances.
• Manage Business licenses process and related governmental reporting to ensure all licenses are paid properly.
• Mange and escalate vendor inquiries and requests.
• Take an active role in the preparation of month-end closing, accrual, reconciliation tasks relating to A/P accounts.
• Trouble shooting issues with invoice matching and reporting.
• Develop, implement, and improve policies and A/P controls to increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and participate in Ad hoc projects
• Provide support on A/P related auditing.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• NetSuite experience is a must.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferable in Accounts Payable
• Bachelor's degree in Relevant Field a plus
• Experience with SOX and internal controls as it relates to A/P
• Detail oriented individual and Self-motivated
• Highly collaborative and hard-working
• Greate team player, communicator and listener in a fast-paced environment
