As part of the WelbeHealth Launch Team, the Director of Operations, Launch is accountable for the initial launch and management of new programs. This role requires expertise in overseeing complex, cross-functional projects, hiring frontline healthcare team members, and building and directing high-functioning teams.
Essential Job Duties:
- Head new program pre-launch, launch, and immediate post-launch success, including leading a cross-functional team to deliver on our network, enrollment, workforce, and project management targets
- Continuously improve and codify enterprise best practices in the new market launch playbook to apply at future new program launches
- Ensure new program leaders are onboarded, trained, and mentored in alignment with best practices with clear intention to shift full accountability to the new leadership team within 90-days post launch
- Serve in a transitional or interim leadership role for launch and mature programs when needed
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and required program infrastructure setup in alignment with launch project budget and timeline
- Oversee central operations initiatives and optimization projects between launches
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required; master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a multi-discipline supervisory or leadership capacity with proven capability to develop and mentor team members
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members
- Experience hiring and onboarding healthcare team members
- Experience working on complex, fast-paced, multi-discipline projects, managing timeline and budget goals and making sound decisions in emergency situations
- Ability to travel as business needs require

Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a 401(k) match, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications.
