The Director of Nursing is accountable for the strategic leadership and operational execution of nursing services across their assigned region. In close collaboration with the Senior Director of Nursing and site-based clinic leadership, this role drives nursing excellence. The Director of Nursing is accountable for clinic and nursing performance outcomes, including key performance indicators (KPIs), and provides matrixed leadership and support to Clinic Directors and Clinic Managers.

On the day-to-day, you will:
- Partner with the Senior Director of Nursing to provide vision for nursing roles and clinic staff that allows for maximum efficiency and effectiveness of our nursing and clinic teams, as well as operationalizes WelbeHealth’s values, culture, and mission
- Serve as the subject matter expert and discipline leader for Clinic Nurse Managers and Clinic Nurse Directors, partnering with Executive Director to help mentor, coach, and train nursing leaders as necessary for high performance
- Collaborate with the training team to identify and establish nursing and clinic staff training needs and content
- Own the effectiveness of WelbeHealth RN case management and clinic operations, continually evaluating gaps in clinic operations and collaborating with the Senior Director of Nursing to build solutions
- Identify and participate in the creation of any outstanding SOPs required for highly efficient clinic operations
- Oversee and support RN Case Manager and clinic staff role specific KPIs, working directly with local leaders on performance management when necessary
Job requirements include:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with unencumbered RN License required; bachelor’s degree (BSN) or higher preferred
- Minimum of ten (10) years of nursing leadership in complex, high growth environments
- Direct clinic management experience, ideally overseeing organizations with at least fifty (50) nurses
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire clinical teams
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and clinical practices
- Consistent track record of driving initiatives that improve operations effectiveness and patient experience
- Experience presiding over a data-driven organization, leveraging reports and data to prioritize and oversee people and projects
- Preference for a candidate located in or willing to relocate to within an hour of a WelbeHealth location
