Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?

US HealthVest operates a growing portfolio of 10 freestanding behavioral health hospitals. As our Corporate Financial Operations Auditor, you’ll review financial processes across our hospitals, identify trends and gaps, and give leaders clear findings and practical recommendations. You’ll partner with onsite and corporate teams to strengthen processes that affect accuracy, collections, denials, and overall financial performance.

Areas You’ll Audit:

• Revenue Cycle: Financial counseling paperwork, benefit verification accuracy, patient responsibility calculations, denial tracking, and collector productivity testing. Assess Medicare bad debt documentation and month-end processes are being followed.
• Payroll: Personnel action change accuracy, payroll register compliance to policy, with audits rotating across two hospital sites each month.
• Accounts payable: Practitioner payment comparatives against contracts, purchasing control testing, and capital expenditure documentation.
• Journal entries: Accounts receivable entry review, payroll accrual accuracy, and completion of month-end checklists.
• Financial reporting: Review month-end workbook completion, reconciliations to MedHost for accuracy confirmation, and sample-test balance sheet accounts.

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

• Education: A bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in healthcare financial operations, revenue cycle, or internal audit. Hospital experience is required; experience auditing multiple sites and working with MedHost are pluses.
• Skills & Additional Requirements:
• Working knowledge of GAAP, insurance claims, and Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to use data, performance measures, and audit findings to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Ability to present findings clearly, work with leaders on corrective action plans, and provide education or training as needed.
• Strong Excel skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage deadlines and work independently across multiple sites.
• Availability for regular travel to hospital sites, a dedicated home workspace with reliable internet, and a valid driver’s license.

Compensation:

This is a full-time role, and the expected compensation range is $130,000-$150,000 annually, plus bonus potential.
