About the role:

We are seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to lead the vision, strategy, and execution for Unison’s product portfolio. This role will manage and grow a team of product managers while driving alignment across design, engineering, marketing, operations, and compliance to deliver products that delight homeowners, scale origination, and strengthen Unison’s consumer experience.

You will partner closely with department heads and the executive team to align priorities, shape the roadmap, and ensure initiatives deliver the greatest value to the enterprise. This is a senior leadership role requiring the ability to operate at multiple levels, from defining long-term strategy to contributing on day-to-day execution.

This is a hybrid position with the requirement of 3 full days in either our Omaha, NE or San Francisco, CA office.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate a multi-year product vision that enhances customer, partner, and internal user experiences.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable product roadmaps across Unison’s platforms and tools.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing product team with clear ownership and accountability.
  • Establish and champion product management best practices and decision-making frameworks.
  • Partner with engineering, design, and operations to deliver timely, high-quality launches across web, mobile, and partner platforms.
  • Ensure product decisions are guided by user insights, data, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Legal/Compliance to ensure successful product rollouts and adoption.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to executive leadership on growth, customer experience, and technology strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve digital origination, self-service tools, and partner integrations.
  • Stay ahead of consumer expectations and technology trends in fintech and digital lending.

About you:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven track record scaling consumer-focused fintech or lending platforms.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with experience mentoring and developing PMs at all levels.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities with influence across executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and execution-driven, with a bias for action and measurable results.
  • Proven track record of increasing conversion in a digital marketing funnel for a consumer business
  • Agile mindset with comfort in experimentation, iteration, and test-and-learn approaches
  • It’s a bonus if the candidate possesses:
    • Strong understanding of mortgage origination and servicing platforms
    • Strong understanding of compliance for mortgage origination and servicing

Pursuant to California Labor Code § 432.3, the salary range for this position is $170,000 - $220,000. This range reflects the base salary that the Company reasonably expects to pay for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. Additional compensation may include bonuses, commissions, equity, or other benefits.
