About the role:
The IT Administrator will play a critical role in managing and supporting Unison’s IT infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of IT and Information Security, this role ensures the smooth operation of systems, provides technical support to end-users, and enforces IT security measures to protect data and applications. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, hands-on problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
This is a hybrid position with a requirement of 3 full days in either our San Francisco, California OR Omaha, Nebraska office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues both onsite and remotely.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and device provisioning, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Administer and support core systems including Google Workspace, Okta, SaaS applications, and MDM platforms (e.g., Jamf, Ivanti).
- Implement and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard company data and systems.
- Monitor and maintain IT hardware and software including laptops, servers, network devices, A/V systems, and mobile devices.
- Support audio/video conferencing platforms (Google Meet, Zoom, Teams) to ensure seamless operations.
- Create, maintain, and improve IT documentation, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Evaluate SaaS adoption, monitor license usage, and manage IT inventory cycles and cost analysis.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and overall IT performance.
- Partner with security, operations, and business leaders to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide tailored IT support to executive team members and deliver after-hours support as needed.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Administrator or similar role.
- Proven expertise with Google Workspace administration, Okta, and SaaS management.
- Proficiency with MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf, Ivanti).
- Experience supporting IT infrastructure, hardware, and A/V solutions.
- Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and IT security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting ability, analytical mindset, and process orientation.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Atlassian Cloud or equivalent collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements and security frameworks.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability, eagerness to learn, and willingness to provide occasional after-hours or weekend support.

Pursuant to California Labor Code § 432.3, the salary range for this position is $65,000 - $110,000. This range reflects the base salary that the Company reasonably expects to pay for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. Additional compensation may include bonuses, commissions, equity, or other benefits.
