Role Overview

As a Procurement Executive – Indirect Sourcing, you will be responsible for managing procurement across indirect spend categories, ensuring timely sourcing, cost optimization, vendor performance, and contract compliance.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Finance, Admin, Marketing, and Operations to support business requirements while driving procurement excellence and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

  • Manage procurement across indirect spend categories including IT equipment, software, office supplies, logistics, marketing services, facilities, and other business services.
  • Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop vendors for multiple procurement categories.
  • Lead RFQs, RFPs, vendor evaluations, bid analysis, and commercial negotiations.
  • Prepare techno-commercial comparisons and recommend the most suitable sourcing options.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods and services aligned with business requirements.

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
  • Manage contracts, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), software renewals, and commercial documentation.
  • Monitor vendor performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs.
  • Resolve vendor-related issues and drive continuous supplier performance improvements.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and contractual obligations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with HR, IT, Finance, Admin, Marketing, and other business functions to understand procurement requirements.
  • Provide timely updates on sourcing activities, delivery schedules, and procurement status.
  • Ensure stakeholder satisfaction through effective coordination and service delivery.
  • Support budgeting and procurement planning initiatives.

Cost Optimization & Process Excellence

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and procurement efficiencies.
  • Track and optimize spend across indirect procurement categories.
  • Support implementation of procurement best practices and process improvements.
  • Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and sourcing documentation.
  • Generate procurement reports and spend analysis for management reviews.

Requirements

Must Have

  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
  • Experience in category management and strategic sourcing.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of contract management and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Familiarity with ERP and procurement tools such as SAP or similar platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple procurement categories simultaneously.

Good to Have

  • Experience across multiple indirect procurement categories such as IT, Facilities, Marketing, Logistics, and Corporate Services.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, robotics, or technology organizations.
  • Knowledge of procurement analytics and spend management.
  • Exposure to supplier performance management and vendor audits.

Eligible Candidates

Desired Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.

Work Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or Supply Chain functions.
  • Experience managing indirect procurement categories is preferred.
