Core Responsibilities
Inventory Lifecycle Management:
- Maintain 100% accuracy of records for all incoming and outgoing materials.
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization and accessibility.
- Manage stock levels (Reorder Points/Safety Stock) to eliminate shortages and reduce overstocking.
- Execute regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
- Oversee the documented disposal of scrap materials in compliance with company policy.
Operational Oversight:
- Supervise all material handling: receiving, storage, and dispatch.
- Enforce safety regulations and best practices for material handling and equipment use.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and mentor store personnel to ensure high performance and operational safety.
- Manage staff scheduling, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Generate and present critical reports, including:
- Inventory Aging & Trend Reports
- Inward/Dispatch Logs
- Stock Variance Analysis
- Brief upper management on inventory health and potential supply chain bottlenecks.
Qualifications & Skills
Must-Haves (Minimum Requirements)
Inventory Expertise: Proven knowledge of inventory control systems, FIFO/LIFO methods, and auditing procedures.
Leadership: Experience managing and motivating a team in a fast-paced environment.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.
Technical Literacy: Proficiency in maintaining digital records and data integrity.
Industry Experience: Previous experience working within a Manufacturing Facility is required.
Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve material flow issues quickly.
Good-to-Haves (Preferred Skills)
Technical: Proficiency in SAP ERP or similar enterprise systems.
Process: Formal training in Cycle Counting or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
