TraceLink is seeking Product Manager - Interns to focus on expanding our multienterprise applications that enable supply chain parties to engage each other in various processes across the supply change leveraging the power of the Tracelink’s state of the art Opus platform and customer network. Product Managers are responsible for working with cross-functional teams and customers, managing products from cradle to grave, justifying new product development investments, determining and documenting new product requirements, and facilitating product rollout. If you’re self-motivated, intellectually curious and motivated by designingand developing innovative products for global organizations, you could be a good fit for our team. Candidates will work in our Pune office with a flexible, in office work schedule.
What will you be doing?
This position is responsible for…

  • Serve as the voice of the customer (internal and external) for the product

  • Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders

  • Create and document product requirements and use cases

  • Define product features and functions, and work closely with User Experience team on personae definition and product UI designs

  • Present innovative product ideas and user interface designs to customers to garner feedback

  • Conduct design reviews of use cases and user interface designs with Development, QA, Architecture, Professional Services and other internal stakeholders

  • Work closely with architects to understand system tradeoffs for various approaches

  • Facilitate discussions around design and implementation approaches to ensure the best approach is selected, meets the requirements and aligns with company direction and timelines

  • Work with scrum team to author, groom and prioritize user stories for product features and functions

  • Participate in scheduling, coordinating and planning product development releases with Development and QA

  • Work closely with Development, QA and Architecture to resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle

  • Participate in bug triage and prioritization

  • Review and accept features upon completion of development and testing

  • Support and adhere to the release process

  • Provide status updates on the Product Release efforts

  • Serve as product expert; provide secondary support to Sales and Professional Services

  • Work with Marketing to contribute to creation of marketing materials and messaging

  • Provide demos, presentations, support analyst briefings

  • Perform competitive analysis

  • Partner with decision-makers and stakeholders to deliver success and help our customers achieve the desired business value

  • Partner with internal teams (Product Management, User Experience, Technical Communications, Services, Support, Engineering, Architecture) to ensure coordination and alignment leveraging all necessary parties to ensure our success

  • Drive engagement and/or strategy, leveraging our internal partners to build a roadmap tailored to the business priorities, accelerating their time to value

  • Proactively make recommendations that provide a direct P&L impact, and enhance or expand the customer’s ability to reach beyond their business goals

  • Apply TraceLink product, business process, methodology & ecosystem knowledge to drive effective programs

  • Proactively build and expand business relationships that enable better product quality, time to delivery and customer satisfaction

What we’re looking for
Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in product management, supply chain solutions, and technology.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

  • Familiarity with basic product management concepts and tools is a plus.
