Position Overview

At TraceLink, the HR Business Partner plays a critical role in aligning our people strategy with business needs to help teams thrive and perform at their best. As a key partner to managers and leaders within our global Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations organizations, you will support the development and implementation of people strategies that drive team effectiveness, talent development, and a culture of engagement and performance. This is a hands-on, collaborative role reporting to the Senior Director of HR Business Partners.

This role is ideal for someone who is business-savvy, solutions-oriented, highly collaborative, and passionate about enabling great leadership and strong teams. You’ll be working closely with HR centers of excellence (L&D, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, People Ops) as well as international HR colleagues, in a dynamic and growing company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers and mid-level leaders to understand business goals and translate them into aligned HR programs and priorities.

  • Provide guidance on organizational structure, team development, and workforce planning.

  • Coach leaders on people management, employee engagement, and performance practices.

  • Manage employee relations matters, including performance conversations, conflict resolution, and investigations, ensuring alignment with TraceLink’s values and compliance requirements.

  • Support annual HR programs including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and compensation cycles.

  • Analyze people-related data and trends (e.g., attrition, engagement, promotions) to inform decisions and recommend improvements.

  • Collaborate with L&D to identify skill gaps and support leadership and team development initiatives.

  • Work with the Compensation team to ensure equitable pay practices, help evaluate roles, and support promotion processes.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring aligned to business needs and culture.

  • Help foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, supporting TraceLink’s leadership principles and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.

  • 6–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in high-growth technology or SaaS organizations.

  • Experience supporting Sales, Marketing, or other customer-facing functions is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence without authority, and offer sound judgment in employee-facing matters.

  • Working knowledge of core HR disciplines such as employee relations, performance management, and compensation.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.

  • Effective communicator with strong facilitation, listening, and writing skills.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and partnering across global teams.

  • Solid understanding of U.S. labor laws; familiarity with global HR practices is helpful.

  • Willingness to work onsite in our Wilmington, MA office five days a week, with flexibility for personal or family matters as needed.
