The Role

To support our rapid growth, TraceLink is seeking a business manager for our Track and Trace business to support our go-to-market strategies and expansion into adjacent markets. As more companies seek to digitalize their supply chains and execute processes with their partners, TraceLink’s multi-enterprise digital network platform provides a proven solution used by 1500+ customers and 290k+ of their supply chain partners. The Business Manager will work with General Manager and other Commercial functions to create and execute go-to-market strategies, develop campaigns to engage prospective buyers, and identify new opportunities for traceability and supply chain digitalization beyond regulatory compliance. This is a high visibility position within TraceLink with daily interactions with the senior and executive management team.

Responsibilities

  • Research adjacent industries to identify opportunities for TraceLink’s solutions.
  • Define the challenges, capabilities, and value related to TraceLink’s solutions in these industries.
  • Identify the Ideal Customer Profile and key buyer personas and develop targeted value propositions.
  • Develop commercialization and marketing strategies for entry into adjacent industries.
  • Research competitor offerings and develop competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with value engineering to develop models quantifying TraceLink’s value and competitive differentiation.
  • Collaborate with content marketing and sales enablement to set the strategy for lead generation and sales enablement.
  • Collaborate with product management and the services center of excellence to determine product roadmap prioritizations and service model strategies.
  • Design, implement, and manage a Customer Launch Program with support from Product Management and Services Center of Excellence teams.
  • Monitor KPIs for assigned products, including total addressable market, market penetration, win/loss analysis, and average selling price.
  • Work with the General Manager to identify strategic growth areas and business expansion.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 - 10 years’ experience, with a prior work history in the supply chain for medical device manufacturers and pharmaceutical manufacturers with a focus on clinical supplies management.
  • Expert in understanding the current supply chain challenges within medical devices or related industries.
  • Experience working with users and business stakeholders to identify market requirements and develop business cases.
  • Experience working for healthcare SaaS solution providers or deep experience managing the selection and implementations of SaaS solutions, preferably related to the supply chain, is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required. MBA a plus.
