Overview

As Regional Sales Director you will manage a team of Sales Executives to drive revenue growth through acquisition of new customers. Your team sell supply chain products including the worlds #1 pharmaceutical track and trace solution.

Reporting to the Americas Sales VP, you will have a high degree of autonomy. As TraceLink’s product suite is continually evolving to cover a wider set of supply chain business challenges, this role would be well suited to an adaptable person with a growth mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute on a customer acquisition strategy to generate accelerated annual growth in revenue and bookings

  • Manage and motivate a team of experienced Sales Executives selling supply chain solutions to the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Develop and maintain high level solution knowledge including Track & Trace; MINT; Supply Chain digitalization; and Predictive Analytics.

  • Generate growth for Track and Trace and other innovative solutions

  • Create and implement individual account plans to help move each account through the sales cycle from research to close including RFP response preparation and submission

  • Attend conferences and establish necessary partnerships to secure new business.

  • Present results in QBR and complete accurate forecasting of the business in a timely manner.

  • Work with customers and internal teams such as Sales Ops and Marketing to develop and deliver program proposals that meet customers’ specific needs.

  • Support team members to a successful close, coaching on sales techniques and methodologies to unblock situations, and assume lead when necessary.

  • Lead and coordinate contract negotiations for a successful close.

  • Support the development of a healthy culture that retains key employees and encourages professional development

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years sales experience with a software or SaaS solution.

  • 5+ years managing a sales team.

  • Bachelor’s degree or compensatory experience.

  • Proven track record of increasing revenue.

  • Ability to present complex topics to C-Suite and Supply Chain/Procurement/Finance/Compliance/IT leaders.

  • High-level communication in executive summaries/RFPs/internal projects/customer meetings/etc.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to unstick customer and internal issues.

  • Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple priorities

  • Driven and adaptable. As an evolving company you will need to handle new internal and customer situations.

  • Competence with Salesforce, Sales Navigator, MEDDIC

  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally

  • You can regularly work in our Wilmington (MA) office.
