You’ll get to play a key role in shaping and guiding the team that is building the software that powers the payroll product for Toast restaurants. The Toast Payroll solution delivers daily value to its users - enabling restaurant owners to pay their staff and pay their taxes, and enabling transparency for wages and tips for restaurant employees.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
- Work with fellow developers, product managers, designers, and user researchers to build amazing mobile features with a goal of increasing our consumer footprint at Toast
- Flex your full-stack muscles with challenging end-to-end tasks in a supportive, collaborative team environment
- Mentor developers through code-pairing and detailed code reviews
- Ship code that has a massive impact on the growth of Toast
- Experiment directly with restaurant employees for quick feedback on features and projects
- Champion best practices for development, deployment and quality life-cycles

- Proficient in a modern programming language
- Passionate about technology and learning new things
- Track record of delivering high impact features
- Experience and interest in mentoring peers
- You know how to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance through logging and metrics
