Position Summary
Structure Therapeutics is seeking a (Senior) Scientist to join our Molecular Interaction team in Shanghai. This role supports in vitro pharmacology and biophysics efforts to advance our internal drug discovery programs, with a primary focus on GPCR targets. Responsibilities include assay development, CRO management, and cross-functional collaboration, all contributing to our mission of making medicine more accessible.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and optimize binding and functional assays.
- Manage and coordinate CROs to deliver reliable, well-documented results.
- Generate high-quality data on binding or function kinetics and affinity.
- Scout and integrate new technologies, vendors, and advisors into the platform.
- Present data in project team discussions and represent the function.
- Collaborate in a matrixed team to support discovery pipelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ph.D. in pharmacology, biochemistry, biophysics, or related field (or M.S. with significant experience).
- Hands-on expertise in biochemical/biophysical assays (e.g. TR-FRET, FP, RLA, MST/SpS, SPRm, sc-IC).
- Experience managing CROs and ensuring data quality.
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to relocate to or work in Shanghai.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Pharma, Biotech, or CRO setting.
- Understanding of GPCR pharmacology and receptor–ligand kinetics.
- Familiarity with image-based assays and high-content analysis.
- Exposure to bioinformatics or AI/ML applied to biological data
