Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager with a strong quality background to oversee production operations, ensure product quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in manufacturing processes with a deep understanding of quality control principles to ensure that all products meet or exceed established standards.

How will you make an impact?

  • Manufacturing Operations Management:
    • Supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are met on time and within budget.
    • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of production processes to optimize efficiency.
    • Manage production staff, including training, performance evaluations, and team development.
    • Partner with Supply Chain & Logistics team to ensure material planning and global shipping.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Develop, implement, and enforce quality control standards and procedures in manufacturing.
    • Work closely with product and engineering teams to monitor product quality throughout the production cycle.
    • Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Lead and implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement programs to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the manufacturing team.
    • Utilize data analysis and performance metrics to drive decisions and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and R&D, to align production with customer demands and product specifications.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management regarding production performance, quality metrics, and improvement initiatives.
    • Manage and resolve any production or quality-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Resource Management:
    • Ensure that manufacturing equipment and resources are properly maintained and calibrated.
    • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure efficient production.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Oversee adherence to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
    • Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

What qualifications and skills will make you succeed in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in manufacturing management, with a strong background in quality control and assurance.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production scheduling software.

What is the Pay Range?

$130,000-$180,000

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, annual base salary for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Seyond. You may also be eligible for the sales incentive plan and equity. In addition, our highly competitive benefits package is designed to support your success.
