General Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager – Demand planning is responsible for Supply Chain forecasting activities associated with the region. The ideal candidate will support the Regional S&OP process and work closely with country teams to ensure efficiency in forecast.

Responsibilities include delivering required analysis and reporting as well as supporting effective decision-making process.

This is a Hybrid role based in Paddington, London (3 days a week in the office are required).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the demand/supply/operations review, summarizing S&OP meeting on an agreed frequency
  • Consolidate and analyze demand and supply information for S&OP decision base
  • Act as the liaison between the Regional Business Partners and Finished Goods Supply planning Teams for all aspects of the demand and supply management process.
  • Support and/or drive improvement projects related to S&OP process
  • Identify gaps between production and financial forecasts, providing analysis and highlight any risks and opportunities.
  • Create, monitor, and maintain key performance indicators, identifying resulting risks and opportunities to help drive business decisions.
  • Organize and maintain the file sharing infrastructure around S&OP – e.g. documentation, meeting minutes, action tracking
  • Support ad-hoc demand or supply data analyses

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Proven years’ experience in supply chain or operations, pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong Previous experience in demand and/or supply planning
  • analytical skills and execution power, ability to understand different complex scenarios, and act proactively.
  • Good relation and communication skills: ability to work in cross functional and organizational teams, create mutual trust and understanding, influence, share knowledge.
  • Excellent time management and good analytical and reporting skills.
  • Good organizational and project management skills
  • Knowledge of PowerBI and Rapid Response an advantage.

Travel:

This position will require 15% travel to Vertex offices internationally.
