Position Summary
As an Entry-Level User Experience (UX) Designer on the Securonix User Experience team, you will contribute to the visual and functional design of concepts, prototypes, and iterative milestones for SIEM and Threat Intelligence products serving private companies and public institutions globally. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and senior designers to translate business objectives and user requirements into intuitive, scalable design solutions that enhance usability and drive adoption. This role offers hands-on exposure to enterprise cybersecurity products, including features related to security data management, automation, AI-driven insights, data enrichment, and visualization. This position is ideal for someone early in their UX career who is eager to learn, grow within a collaborative team, and build expertise in designing complex, data-rich enterprise applications.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Support End-to-End Design Efforts: Assist in creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and visual designs for SIEM and cybersecurity-related workflows and interfaces.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and senior UX team members to understand requirements, user stories, and workflows; contribute design ideas that improve clarity and usability.
• Apply Human-Centered Design Principles: Participate in user research, usability testing, and iterative design processes to help validate and refine solutions.
• Contribute to Design System: Use and help maintain Securonix’s design system to ensure consistency across modules and features.
• Participate in Agile Development: Engage in sprint planning, design reviews, and demos to support smooth implementation of design solutions.
• Advocate for Usability & Accessibility: Help ensure solutions are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with UX best practices.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with UX trends, tools, and cybersecurity product knowledge to grow professional expertise.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field OR Minimum of 1 year of relevant UX, product design, or internship experience
• Proficiency in Figma for screen design and prototyping
• Foundational wireframing and rapid prototyping skills
• Understanding of basic UX principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional Agile environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Portfolio demonstrating design thinking, problem-solving process, and user-centered design approach

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Internship or project experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise applications
• Exposure to data-rich interfaces, dashboards, or analytics tools
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
• Interest in cybersecurity or enterprise software products preferred
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn from feedback
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Open to diverse perspectives and collaborative problem-solving
• Proactive mindset with a desire to continuously improve the user experience
