Key Responsibilities -

  • Review application security requirements at the planning stage and participate in VAPT during SDLC phases.
  • Automate routine security tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
  • Understand common vulnerabilities and attack exploitation techniques (e.g., OWASP Top 10, Metasploit-based techniques).
  • Conduct cloud security and container security assessments on both AWS & EKS environments.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Perform infrastructure and network security assessments using tools like Nessus, Qualys, Wireshark, Nmap, and Google SCC.
  • Support ongoing internal automation efforts to improve vulnerability detection, false positive reduction, and report generation using AI agents.
  • Stay current with the latest attack vectors, AI-driven security tools, and emerging threats in the industry.
  • Participation in CTFs, bug bounty programs, or contributions to open-source security tools.

AI and Agentic AI Focus -

  • Assist in designing autonomous agents to analyze SAST/DAST outputs and generate summaries.
  • Help build AI pipelines to automatically detect false positives and perform contextual enrichment.
  • Use large language models (LLMs) to identify patterns in scan data and prioritize findings.
  • Contribute to prompt engineering and logic flow for internal AI agents handling vulnerability triage.
  • Certifications like Certified AI Security Professional (CAISP) or equivalent AI security credentials.

Minimum Qualifications -

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, application, network, infrastructure & cloud security, and DevSecOps.
  • Understanding of web security fundamentals, OWASP Top 10, and CVSS scoring, CIS benchmarking.
  • Experience with at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or Shell).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS), Linux, and Kubernetes.
