Our senior value engineer consultants fuel solutions to ensure enterprise deployments make the deepest impact possible across an organization. You'll solve organizations’ most ambitious problems, including the ones they didn't know existed. As a successful Securonix Consultant, you will be adept at mastering new technologies from various business, analytic, and technology backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

  • With a physical presence onsite at the customer's office, the consultant would work directly alongside the customer's security team, conducting assessments, implementing solutions, and providing training.
  • Collaborate across the entire Securonix organization to gain access to product and technical teams, deliver the right solution, and drive feature innovation based on customer input.
  • Ability to stop, collaborate, and listen to technical and non-technical consumers, from IT administrators to executive-level partners.
  • Demonstrable understanding of common enterprise applications (preference given to expertise in security and finance).
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-growing environment while working independently and remotely from other members of your team and corporate.
  • Meaningful software industry experience in any of the following: IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, and/or analytics.
  • Build, drive, strategic execution, and report on value plans
  • Provide technical guidance on use case development, configuration, and optimization
  • Drive deployments of Securonix and resolve customer-unique problems.
  • Demonstrate experience in technical consulting and big data analytics.
  • Collaborate across the entire Securonix organization to bring access to product and technical teams, get the right solution delivered, and drive feature innovation gathered from customer input.
  • Demonstrate operating systems, network, and endpoint security skills
  • Extensive experience with Syslog.
  • Ability to script in one of the following languages (PowerShell, Python, Javascript)
  • Experience in log management (knowledge of parsing, filtering, and enrichment).
  • Internal Sync with Securonix Customer Success Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Sales Engineers, Professional Services, and other engaged parties.
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical users effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Drive complex deployments of Securonix while working with the customers to resolve their unique problems.
  • Work with Field, Sales Engineering, and Customer Support.
  • Empower and enable Securonix customers.
  • Demonstrate and lead best practices.
  • Experience using cloud services and virtual machine ("VM") technologies.
  • Develop business use cases and build innovative solutions to push user adoption and increase the value of Securonix.
  • Provide technical guidance on using MITRE Coverage, Gaps, and maturity.
  • Provide technical guidance on the use of SOAR development and implementation.
  • Help customers build Insider Threat Programs
  • Conduct internal enablement sessions.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS preferred in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience in technical consulting or big data analytics.
  • Strong understanding of SIEM and UEBA solutions such as Splunk, Logrhythm, and Exabeam.
  • Working knowledge of cloud technologies such as Amazon, Azure, and Google
  • Prior experience implementing SIEM products; Securonix certifications are strongly preferred
  • Good understanding of MITRE ATT&CK matrices, kill chains, and other attack models.
  • Experience with the Unix and Windows operating systems; comfortable with the command line interface.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver executive and customer presentations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization from Engineering/Operations to CIO/CISO audiences
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM

Preferred:

  • 4-5 years of experience in UEBA deployment
  • Working knowledge of Machine learning in cybersecurity
  • Experience integrating endpoint security and host-based intrusion detection solutions
  • Experience with network forensics and toolsets such as Wireshark, PCAP, tcpdump
