  • Performance and supervision of routine imaging and image documentation of cells
  • RNA and DNA isolation and preparation for genomic analyses.
  • Assuring the quality and integrity of all data collection and documentation
  • Performance and supervision of flow cytometry and cell sorting
  • Daily management of the cell culture lab as needed
  • Assuring compliance with all relevant lab safety and biosafety regulations

What we’re looking for

  • Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing

What will separate you from the crowd

  • Experience in glial cell biology
  • Experience in 3D stem cell suspension protocols
  • Experience in cellular genomic protocols
  • Neuroscience background

What you should know

  • Scheduled weekend and holiday coverage required for culture maintenance and analysis, in rotation with supervised technical staff, to ensure successful project performance with sampling at defined time points
  • The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $100,000 and $120,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
