About the Team & Opportunity

innovaTel is looking for a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This role will be working with pediatric patients in a children's hospital setting. We provide a tremendous amount of support to our clinical team and want our clinicians to be able to focus on what’s most important - patient care. Come join our exceptional team!

  • Expected hours:
    • 40 hours per week
  • Role location:
    • Remote. If candidates have the ability to be on-site in the Philadelphia area on an occasional basis, that is a plus
    • If a candidate prefers to be on-site, that option is also available
  • Patient population:
    • Pediatrics at a children’s hospital
  • Required licenses:
    • New Jersey and Pennsylvania. If a candidate possesses only one of these licenses, we will consider cross-licensing in the other state

Accountabilities

  • Perform initial mental health diagnostic assessments with treatment recommendations.
  • Develop an individualized, prescriptive treatment plan to fit the needs of each patient using appropriate diagnostic criteria.
  • Develop a strong rapport with a diverse set of patients primarily through the telehealth modality
  • Document concurrently all clinical findings and services provided in the electronic medical record as required by standards of care.
  • Participate in treatment meetings, consultation, and collaboration with members of the clinical team.
  • Be present and available on-screen for the duration of the contracted hours

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Relevant and active LCSW license
  • Certified and / or experienced in common therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, TFCBT and Motivational Interviewing
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills, positive relationship building skills and critical analysis.
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust to needs of clinic partners (e.g., same-day appointments, patients in crisis, technology outages, etc.)
  • Well versed in using EHRs, confident in a virtual setting and concurrent documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to be on-site on an occasional basis in the Philadelphia area
  • Experienced in caring for patients with Serious Mental Illness
  • Previous telemedicine experience and skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patient
