Role Summary:

As an Implementation Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the full lifecycle of implementation projects, from initial scoping to go-live. This includes proactive project planning, risk management, technical implementation oversight, and effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders to ensure successful go live and project outcomes.

What you’ll do:

  • Own strategy and execution for high-complexity implementation projects, ensuring on-time and in-scope delivery for EHR integrations with various healthcare systems.
  • Own overall project management work across cross-functional internal and external workstreams - meeting coordination/artifacts, project documentation, issue/risks logs, project plans, etc..
  • Lead technical project deliverables, including discovery discussions, data source validation, and consultative guidance around data architecture and integrations.
  • Partner with clients and internal teams to align implementation plans with business objectives and long-term success metrics.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks proactively, developing contingency plans and guiding cross-functional teams through critical issue resolution.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration and information-sharing, navigating priorities across internal teams (engineering, product, customer success) and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvement and scalability, creating playbooks, templates, and best practices to enhance the implementation methodology.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in implementation/project management, preferably in healthcare/clinical trials and/or enterprise software, ideally involving the integration and use of large data sets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop and execute detailed project plans, define project scope, manage timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Experience using project management and product development tools (e.g., Monday.com/Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Start-up work experience and/or desire, aptitude, and willingness to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes
  • High degree of responsiveness, reliability, accountability and integrity.
  • Adaptability and a growth mindset: The AI field is rapidly evolving, so a willingness to learn new technologies and approaches is essential.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Nice to Have

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Knowledge of interoperability between health system EHRs and 3rd party applications, including but not limited to: HL7, FHIR APIs, and electronic data warehouse extracts
  • Familiarity with SQL for running existing queries and making minor modifications.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and GCP/ICH guidelines for clinical trial management.
  • Experience working with Healthcare systems, esource or EDC systems

The base compensation range is $120,000 – $150,000 USD per year. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and location.
