About the role:
As an AP accounting manager, you will be part of a dynamic environment. You will support the finance department and will hold a key position within the company by performing administrative, accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
You will work with Owkin's finance and operations teams and report directly to the Group accounting director.
In particular, you will:
- Managing two accountants
- Managing the bookkeeping for all the entities with the help of two accountants : purchases invoices, expenses reports, banks statement
- Managing the accounts payable on the Netsuite ERP (Invoice payments, lettering, scaling, reconciliation, adjustment entries ...);
- Management of AP monthly closings in total autonomy (accruals, prepayments);
- Supervision of monthly bank reconciliations and helping cash flow management
- Supervision of suppliers payment
- Monitor and payment for expense reports
- Be the main contact for supplier account issues;
- Participate in projects related to supplier accounting, process improvement and promote compliance.
- Ensure employee expenses are in accordance with internal policies and regulations;
- Track fixed assets (create asset records, start periodic depreciation, track asset acquisitions and disposals...) with the help of the accountant
- Lead the Continuous Improvement of the new ERP, and various other tools
Position is based in our Paris office.
About you
Required qualifications / experience:
- Higher education level or significant experience in accounting and control
- Ability to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally
- Ability to work in scale up, high speed, fast moving environments
- Significant experience in accounting in a firm or a fast-growing company
- Comfortable with IT tools in general, MAC environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Gsheet;
- Previous experience working with ERP Netsuite
- A minimum of intermediate level in written and spoken English;
- Highly rigorous, organized, able to meet deadlines, strong team spirit, dynamism, service orientation, attention to detail and discretion;
- Flexibility and ease of working in a constantly changing environment, ability to adapt to emergencies;
