About the role:

The People Assistant intern has the opportunity to join a fast growing start-up and help the people team on their day to day tasks.

As an People Assistant intern, you will be at the heart of day to day life of the Owkin Paris office, helping on the execution of all people projects and talent acquisition topics. You will be reporting to the Head of People Ops & Partners and working directly with our people operations team, and the Talent team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to our employee experience, candidate experience and HR processes.

In particular, you will:

  • Help in elaborations of HR policies, employment certificate etc..
  • Coordinate with the HRBP’s probation confirmation process,
  • Updating HR databases (Hibob).
  • Monitor illness / accident cases and liaise with respective institutions
  • Support onboarding/offboarding tasks working in collaboration with other teams (IT, Culture)
  • Coordinate each onboarding session and new joiner trainings in Paris in person
  • Organizing and scheduling internal and external meetings
  • Scheduling candidate interviews and / or assessment for Talent Team
  • Supporting the Talent team and wider business with the rollout of the initiatives, policies and events.
  • Maintaining key performance metrics and validation data of interns and apprentices.
  • Attendance at university recruiting events.
  • Manage friendly and clear communication
  • Working with the communications team to create and send company updates and cultural communications such as the all-company newsletter
  • Work transversely across departments to ensure the company intranet is up to date
  • Help with internal content creation using canva and google slides

Position is based in our Paris Office

  • You are an excellent communicator, with a good level of French and English
