\nAbout the role:
\nAs a Strategy & Operations Intern, you will have the opportunity to work directly with Owkin’s Strategic planning & Operations team on a broad range of topics that support the development of Owkin’s network of research partners through innovative products & tools for collaborative science. You will focus on the Federated Data Network (FDN), Owkin’s team in charge of sourcing and making medical research data actionable for our data scientists.
\nThis role will provide high exposure to our management team and to our planning processes. It is an ideal opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong interest in healthcare innovation, AI and software products.
\nYou will get acquainted with challenging privacy, data access, product positioning & collaborative research questions that we address at Owkin, and have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our rapidly growing company.
\nYou will report to the Director of Strategy & Operations for the Federated Data Network.
\nIn particular, you will:
\n- \n
- Working with the StratOps team and C-level management to develop long-term strategic plans for Owkin’s FDN; \n
- Working on day-to-day, quarterly and annual reporting metrics & KPIs for the FDN \n
- Supporting annual forecasting & budgeting exercises \n
- Preparing and reviewing materials for high stake interactions with public or private partners \n
- Supporting transversal initiatives to improve operational efficiency and excellence within Owkin \n
- Supporting the different teams of the FDN with strategic analyses \n
Position is based in our Paris Office.
\nAbout you
\nRequired qualifications / experience:
\n- \n
- Is enrolled in a Master’s degree program or equivalent in business or engineering; \n
- Is familiar with machine learning concepts; \n
- Preferably has previous experience in the health field, consulting or in product strategy; \n
- Works hard and knows how to get things done efficiently; \n
- Communicates effectively in written and oral English; \n
- Learns quickly and is passionate about Biotech and AI; \n
- Prioritizes and is able to juggle multiple workstreams; \n
- Is numerate and tech-savvy; \n
- Is a creative thinker. \n
