Are you a highly skilled and customer-centric Technical Architect with deep Salesforce expertise and a passion for large-scale data management? Do you thrive in an environment where you can autonomously design, deliver, and implement robust solutions while mentoring others? Odaseva is seeking a visionary technologist to join our dynamic team in San Francisco.
Reporting into our VP of Expert Services, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales team with solutioning and fulfilling delivery obligations by advising or implementing Odaseva products tailored to customer environments. Your work will directly impact a significant portion of the company's revenue by configuring technology and services to meet complex customer needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Architect and Deliver Solutions: Advise, design, and deliver robust data management and security solutions to enterprise Salesforce customers , focusing on large-scale data management, migration, backup recovery, and archival strategies within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Support Sales & Pre-Sales: Act as a solution architect during the sales process , configuring technology and services to meet customer needs , contributing to deals through SOWs, accelerators, and success plans.
  • Technical Leadership & Advisory: Serve as a trusted technical advisor to our customers and internal teams, influencing architecture decisions and long-term strategy. Provide advisory services as a "coach" or hands-on implementation as a "doer".
  • Customer Engagement & Communication: Engage with customers to understand their problems and articulate solutions effectively, building rapport and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Problem Solving & Innovation: Translate complex requirements into actionable, best-practice configurations and proactively solve challenges independently. Address product limitations and bugs, acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams.
  • Mentorship & Collaboration: Lead and mentor team members across regions, and contribute to our collaborative team environment through strong communication. Mentor the product team to better understand customer needs.
  • Strategic Growth: Continuously learn and grow technically, adapting to a fluid environment where you'll contribute to "writing the playbook".
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key stakeholders in pre-sales and post-sales, including CSMs, sales, and solution engineering.

Skills You Bring:

  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in software development, with a strong background in a dedicated Technical Architect or Lead Architect role.
  • Salesforce Technical Architect Expertise: Must be a Salesforce Technical Architect with relevant certifications, demonstrating an understanding of APIs, data models, metadata architecture, and Salesforce security.
  • Data Management Experience: Proven experience in the niche space of large-scale data management, data migration, backup recovery, and archival strategies within the Salesforce ecosystem. Prior experience in this niche significantly reduces ramp-up time.
  • Communication & Client-Facing Skills: Excellent communication and "bedside manners", with the ability to understand customer problems and articulate solutions in partnership with customers and Odaseva. Ability to influence both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Autonomy & Ownership: A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, capable of operating independently and proactively solving challenges.
  • Problem-Solving & Solutioning: Strong problem-solving and solutioning capabilities across diverse enterprise use cases.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teammembers, and a desire to help others improve their understanding of customer needs.
  • Regulated Environment Experience (Desirable): Experience with Salesforce solutions in regulated environments (e.g., PII, GDPR, HIPAA, DORA).
  • Adaptability: Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, fluid environment where "we're sort of writing the playbook".
Compensation:
The compensation range will be determined as reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
