Your role:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Contract Specialist to join our
Shared Services Center in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will play a crucial part in
managing contracts throughout their lifecycle. This involves reviewing contracts,
updating relevant systems, creating order forms, and collaborating with various
teams globally. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, excellent
communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities:
- Review contracts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Identify key contract terms and conditions, including payment terms, deliverables, and obligations.
- Accurately input contract data into the contract management system and other relevant databases.
- Generate order forms based on contract specifications and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with sales, legal, finance, and other teams to ensure seamless contract execution.
- Track contract deadlines and renewals, and initiate necessary actions.
- Maintain organized contract records and documentation.
- Respond to inquiries regarding contract terms and status.
- Assist in the development and improvement of contract management processes.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of contract templates and standard operating procedures.
You will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract administration or a similar role.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Strong understanding of contract law and principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with contract management systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders across different cultures and time zones.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in a 16x5 shift pattern (Monday to Friday).
- Experience working in a shared services environment.
- Familiarity with different contract types (sales, procurement, service agreements, etc.).
