We’re looking for a security-minded individual that has solid cloud engineering experience to increase the security of products in Amazon Web Services cloud.
Required Skills-
Strong working knowledge and demonstrated experience with AWS Cloud Security, and subject matter expert for Cloud native and 3rd party information security tools.
- Experience designing, building, managing and creating strategy and architecture for all security services across AWS.
- Knows what it means to “think like a hacker” to take the attacker viewpoint
- Basic TCP/IP understanding
- X.509 / PKI certificate understanding
- Strong communicator who can partner internationally with senior security and application team members
- Self-starter, takes initiative with strong conviction
Roles & Responsibilities-
- Hands-on design and implement Cloud Security controls in AWS using best-in-class security architecture and engineering principles
- Manage cloud security configuration to ensure optimal security posture for GHX environments
- Partner with senior application teams and engage internationally across the enterprise
- Manage AWS security services
- Review data/reports/alerts from these tools and determining the proper course of action
- Respond to real-time critical alerts and initiating the security incident process as needed
- Help maintain and adapt the day-to-day security operation process over time to new threats and tools
Education and Experience-
- 5+ years of relevant AWS security experience
- 11+ years of IT experience
