Senior Software Engineer (Platform Team)

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform Team.
This role sits somewhere between infrastructure engineering and software engineering, with a strong focus on high-load, low-latency systems.
You’ll work closely with the core engineering team on the infrastructure and platform layer powering the product — the systems responsible for reliability, scalability, performance, observability, and operational stability under real production load.
We need someone highly hands-on who understands infrastructure deeply and is comfortable operating close to production systems. This is not a “throw code over the wall” type of role.
Strong ownership, agency, and ability to operate independently are critical.

You will

• Design and improve systems handling high-load and low-latency workloads
• Work closely with infrastructure, backend, and platform systems in production
• Improve scalability, reliability, observability, and operational efficiency
• Work directly with Kubernetes, Google Cloud, deployment pipelines, and production infrastructure
• Help optimize system performance and reduce bottlenecks across the platform
• Build internal tooling and platform-level services
• Participate in infrastructure architecture and operational decisions
• Take ownership of production-critical systems and operational stability

What you bring

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience building and operating high-load, low-latency systems
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals
• Experience working close to infrastructure and production systems
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, reliability, and performance optimization
• High ownership mentality and strong agency
• Ability to operate independently in fast-moving environments
• Strong debugging and operational problem-solving skills
  
  
  
• Experience in fintech, trading infrastructure, exchanges, or market-making systems
• Experience with high-frequency trading (HFT) environments
• Background from companies such as exchanges, trading firms, or infrastructure-heavy startups
• Experience with observability and monitoring tooling
• Experience working with real-time systems
• Experience in crypto or Web3 infrastructure
• GMT or nearby timezone preferred
