In addition, Xacduro (sulbactam for injection; durlobactam for injection) co-packaged for intravenous use was approved in May of 2023 as the first pathogen-targeted antibacterial approved by the US FDA to treat hospital-acquired bacterial pneumonia and ventilator-associated bacterial pneumonia, caused by susceptible isolates of Acinetobacter baumannii-calcoaceticus complex. Primary Responsibilities:

This position will report to the Sr. Director, Finance and will be responsible for the financial planning and analysis of the Company including, but not limited to, the Company’s periodic forecasts and annual operating plan. The Associate Director of FP&A will advise on budgets, financial strategy, financial reporting, and forecasting. This individual will work across all departments to provide a wide range of financial and decision support to senior leaders, including the preparation and maintenance of short- and long-term financial revenue, gross margin and expense forecasts, evaluation of new corporate initiatives, and other ad hoc projects.

  • Complete the consolidation and reporting of annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts in a timely manner
  • Prepare and maintain quarterly board presentations and related schedules
  • Consolidate and report monthly budget vs actual analysis on the P&L providing meaningful insight into the business
  • Support development of the Company’s sales forecasts and sales compensation models
  • Develop new ways to automate and analyze monthly and year-to-date business results and provide actionable recommendations to management
  • Develop and maintain models, analyses and presentations.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Finance team on monthly close to improve analysis and timeliness of reporting
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with department leads for strong partnership ensuring clear understanding of expectations and timelines throughout forecasting and budgeting cycles
  • Assist in template and report development to enhance efficiency and consistency of data inputs and outputs
  • Improve and automate overall architecture of electronic FP&A software
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of a business analytics tool / data warehouse
  • Build and publish sales reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and/or quarterly basis including KPIS, such as revenue forecasts by product
  • Consider the beneficiaries of Company’s Mission with all actions and decisions

Skills and Abilities:

  • 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience in the manufacturing and/or life sciences industries or private/public company experience in related industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and financial planning and analysis tools
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and GAAP
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented with the ability to lead and influence others
  • Continuous improvement mindset with ability to manage employees while multi-tasking large projects.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree and/or CPA
  • Pharmaceutical and public accounting experience
  • Commercial Finance and Gross to Net
  • Adaptive and NetSuite experience
