Interested in working on innovative projects at a fast-growing, pre-IPO SaaS company? Join Icertis for a 10–12 week summer internship on our Global Events team.

As an Event Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience across the full B2B event lifecycle — from strategy and logistics to technology and analytics. You’ll collaborate with a global team to help bring world-class events to life across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, while exploring AI tools that make our event processes smarter and more efficient.

This project-based internship is ideal for someone who is organized, tech-curious, and excited about the intersection of events, technology, and business impact. At the end of the program, you’ll present your work and key learnings to members of the Icertis executive team.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in marketing, Business, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field, or up to one year post graduation
  • Genuine curiosity about AI tools and automation — eagerness to experiment and build
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & PowerPoint
  • Work duration: Available 40 hours per week during summer that runs from May/June-August

Preferred

  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude

The pay range is $27/hr. to $40/hr. and will be based on job-related factors such as year in school, location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Location: This role can be fully remote within the US only, or hybrid if candidate is near one of our US offices.

AI & Automation Innovation

  • Research, prototype, and help build AI tools to streamline event planning workflows and reporting
  • Identify manual, repetitive processes within the event lifecycle and propose technology-driven solutions
  • Document and share AI tools and workflows with the broader team

Event Planning & Execution Support

  • Support end-to-end planning for events across Americas, EMEA, and APAC
  • Assist with logistics including vendor management, venues, run-of-show documents, and on-site coordination
  • Help manage project timelines, task trackers, and cross-functional coordination across marketing, sales, and partner teams
  • Contribute to pre-event and post-event communications

Systems & Operations

  • Maintain and improve event management systems, templates, and documentation within the Event Center of Excellence framework
  • Support event playbooks, dashboards, and budget trackers

Learning the Event Lifecycle

  • Shadow the full lifecycle of multiple event types including global flagship events, executive roundtables, partner dinners, and tradeshows
  • Participate in strategy sessions, vendor negotiations, and stakeholder briefings
  • Gain exposure to APAC, EMEA, and Americas market nuances across all event formats

Revenue & Lead Generation Insight

  • Learn how events are mapped to pipeline generation, revenue impact, and account-based marketing strategies
  • Assist with post-event ROI reporting, lead capture analysis, and attribution tracking
  • Develop an understanding of how events contribute to the buyer journey and sales cycle at an enterprise software company
