The Icertis Senior Security analyst focuses on assessing security systems controls, identifying flaws in these systems, and makes recommendations for implementing corrective measures. Analysts also often focus on improving the effectiveness of security systems and creating procedural guidelines for employees to help protect company data and networks.

The successful candidate will be accountable to perform day-to-day security operations such as daily threat research, network monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, threat intelligence and execution of security solutions, and identify and drive remediation of security vulnerabilities detected by scanning tools or by threat intelligence research. This position is responsible for the involvement in the implementation of new security solutions, participation in the creation and/or maintenance of policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures as well as participating in vulnerability and risk assessments tasks.

The Senior Security Analyst will lead and perform advanced tasks such as conducting security risk assessments, investigating complex security incidents, responding to security breaches, and monitoring systems for threats. Key responsibilities also include developing and implementing security strategies, managing vulnerabilities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mentoring junior analysts.

  • 5+ years of enterprise secureity experience.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with security tools like Azure Sentinel, MSFT Intune, Azure WAF, Next-Gen Antivirus; experience with firewalls, GPO management, and Azure Infrastructure.
  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and provide insights.
  • Communication skills: Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Educational background: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications, CISSP, CISA preferred.

Min $100,000 - Max $170,000 USD per year


Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities. In addition to base salary and an annual target incentive bonus, an equity component is included.

  • Threat and incident management: Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, investigate complex violations, and lead remediation efforts.
  • Lead and conduct tabletop exercises for Security Incidents, Spillage events
  • Risk and vulnerability management: Conduct risk assessments, monitor systems for potential breaches, and manage vulnerabilities from identification to remediation or risk acceptance.
  • Security monitoring and analysis: Monitor security systems, analyze security data, investigate alerts, and provide advanced analysis of monitoring solutions.
  • Strategy and policy: Collaborate to develop and deploy the information security strategy, and help create and update policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Compliance and reporting: Ensure compliance with regulations, prepare reports for management, and assist in audits.
  • Technical leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentor junior analysts, and act as a subject matter expert (SME).
  • Project management: Lead security projects and initiatives, coordinate activities like penetration tests and vulnerability scans, and manage the remediation of issues.
