Join our dynamic team as a seasoned and strategic Global Consolidations Manager. Lead our consolidation efforts, manage global accounting operations, and drive process improvements with robust controls at Icertis, powering contract intelligence. Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. This position will be a remote role, who will be based in PST or MST time zone. #LI-MV1

What you will do

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes for all global entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with regional finance teams to gather and validate financial data, ensuring consistency and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of intercompany accounts and transactions, ensuring proper elimination in consolidated financial statements.
  • Address and resolve discrepancies promptly to ensure accurate consolidated reporting.
  • Prepare and review consolidated balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all balances are supported and accurately reflected.
  • Supervise daily accounting activities across global operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting workflows, reduce manual tasks, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Leverage technology and automation tools to optimize accounting processes.
  • Design, implement, and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and other relevant regulations.
  • Regularly review and update control procedures to adapt to changing business needs and regulatory environments.
  • Conduct consolidated flux analysis to understand and explain variances in financial statements.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on variance analysis.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, offering actionable insights into financial performance.
  • Support internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit inquiries promptly.
  • Ensure timely resolution of audit findings and implementation of recommended improvements.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on financial consolidation, global operations management, and process improvement.
  • Must have experience in system implementation.
  • Proven track record in managing complex consolidations for multinational organizations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • High degree of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
