A Day in the Life

You will be pivotal in providing insights to the business in a clear and concise format through ad-hoc data analyses, identifying, measuring and improving our key business levers and value drivers, and delivering insights on conversion metrics and unit economics of our products and services.

You will be responsible for management reporting, budgeting, re-forecasting and will ensure month end close operates smoothly. A key part of this role is ensuring that management reporting is timely and accurate, including detailed analysis and presentations for the Leadership team.

This role is part of a small, highly driven finance team, who are well respected and integrated across the business, and committed to delivering high quality and timely outputs.

We are in an expanding commercial phase in the business and growing our functions outside of the UK, so we are looking for someone who wants to grow and develop in this role and become familiar with finance in various client types and services across different geographies. A drive for continual efficiency, quality, and process improvements across all Finance team processes is encouraged, as well as excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic and the ability to work at pace.

Who you are

  • Experienced at developing flexible and complex financial models.

  • Skilled at leading management reporting, budgeting and quarterly reforecasting.

  • Experienced at providing insights to the business in clear, concise and executive ready format.

  • Able to work closely with the business to create budgets for new commercial and project initiatives and to deliver high quality and progressive financial service, sharing expertise and guidance where needed.

  • Experience of using business intelligence tools and programming to collect, store and analyse data.

  • A professional finance qualification is essential (ie, ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
