Job Description

Flywire is looking for a driven and self-motivated Technical Implementation Specialist to carry out implementation activities and post production support that bring value to our clients and partners. Interested candidates should bring high quality client management, project management and technical consultation skills into a quickly growing and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Technical Implementation Specialist, you'll drive delivery excellence for our clients and internal stakeholders. You'll provide essential support for existing client integrations and partner with the wider implementation team, Sales, and Relationship Management to ensure a smooth, seamless onboarding experience for all Flywire payment solutions.

  • Provide first-line support for customers during project implementation as well as existing client configurations for any solution-based queries. Provide front-line support to customers for solution-based queries during project implementation, acting as the first point of contact, and for existing client configurations, including triaging incoming support tickets.
  • Consult clients on how to implement Flywire’s cross border products, ensuring a smooth customer experience by matching the products and Integrations to client needs
  • Integrate and deploy Cross Border payment portals for clients within the agreed timelines
  • Maintain the integrity of CRM data for clients and their configurations
  • Explore possible efficiencies within the implementation process and establish best practices in client configuration and project execution
  • Support in the creation of resources/documentation to benefit the client on-boarding experience
  • As needed, support fellow Technical Implementation Managers and Senior Technical Implementation Managers with any/all aspects of a client implementation
  • Play a role in fostering an ever improving culture and customer experience continuously

Qualifications

FlyMate Skills and Qualifications we’re looking for:

  • Fluency in English required - proficiency in additional languages a plus (but not required).
  • 2+ years of professional experience with Higher Education such as Business Office, Cashiering, Financial Aid, or Reconciliation processes or experience in Fintech, Technology or Consulting companies.
  • Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Javascript, Liquid, or SQL) and an understanding of APIs and webhooks for integrations.

  • Client-Centric Communication: You will interact with a variety of stakeholders, internal and external - strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences, and a focus on client satisfaction are crucial.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking: You are good at identifying issues, effective troubleshooting, and developing solutions for client challenges. You are technologically savvy and have an interest in learning the deeper skills needed to really grow in your career
  • Collaboration and Organisation: You are a self starter with the ability to work alone as well as part of a strong team. You have proven attention to detail, know how to stay on top of a busy schedule, and know when to bring others in for support.
  • Curiosity and Initiative: You are ambitious and take initiative to ask questions to understand why, not just take a request at face value. You see an inefficient process and are not afraid of speaking up and presenting solutions to make it better. Challenges excite you and you are energised by finding creative solutions to new situations
