Equip Health, Inc seeks Product Owner in Carlsbad, California, to be responsible for: work closely with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Business teams to incorporate feature requests into the product roadmap & backlog; Coordinate and participate in development activities including daily standups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, sprint planning, and other scrum ceremonies; Answer technical questions from developers or others on the team to remove blockers and facilitate efficient development; Set sprint goals and define sprint backlogs with the engineering teams; Plan sprint striping and feature release milestones working with Product Management; Defining and prioritizing non-functional requirements and automation needs; Follow the progress of work and address detail/information issues during sprints; Interpret functional requirements and requests of end-users; Refine our agile methodology based on results and feedback; Keep track of industry trends and best practices; Able to identify and negotiate user needs and work with cross-functional teams to define & prioritize the scope of releases that deliver business value; Organize, prioritize, and assess work for the engineering team; Define and prioritize non-functional requirements and automation needs; Present sprint accomplishments in sprint demos.
Requires Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Requires 2 years of experience in all of the following: setting sprint goals and defining sprint backlogs; defining user stories and requirements that are fully testable; executing SCRUM using modern online tools. Requires knowledge in the following (can be gained via any combination of coursework or experience): software development and web technologies; presenting sprint accomplishments in sprint demos.
May telecommute from anywhere in the US. The salary range for this position in the US is $120,000 - $130,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are open to compensation negotiations. Equip offers a comprehensive benefit package, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k, paid time off, family and short-term disability leave.
