About the Role

We’re seeking an Engagement Manager, Platform Development who can bridge deep scientific understanding with commercial acumen to drive new business growth. This role sits at the intersection of science, strategy, and sales for someone who can engage R&D leaders in meaningful scientific discussions, uncover data and AI opportunities, and help shape solutions that advance life sciences research. You’ll be responsible for leading scientific pre-sales engagements, supporting opportunity qualification, and collaborating with technical and product teams to design impactful, AI-ready data solutions for clients.

What You’ll Own

• Lead scientific engineering conversations with senior stakeholders at BioPharma, Biotech, Diagnostics, CRO/CDMO and research institutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor, understanding engineering pain points across drug discovery, translational research, development and clinical data workflows.
• Represent Elucidata’s platform, Polly, and its data-centric AI capabilities to prospects through workshops, demos, and scientific presentations.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to design tailored solutions for prospective customers.
• Translate customer needs into technical problem statements that align with Elucidata’s platform and services.
• Contribute to RFP responses and partner on technical content and thought leadership material.
• Represent Elucidata in conferences, webinars, and panel discussions to elevate the company’s scientific brand presence.
• Work cross-functionally with Customer Success and Solution Delivery teams to ensure successful handoff and continuity from sale to delivery.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Advanced degree (Master’s / PhD) in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in development of scientific R&D infrastructures.
• Proven ability to engage with scientific, digital transformation and business leaders to translate R&D challenges into solutions.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills, able to simplify complex scientific concepts for executive audiences.
• Deep knowledge of multi-omics, EHR, or RWD data ecosystems and standards such as OMOP, FHIR, or SNOMED CT is a plus.
• Demonstrated comfort working in matrixed, cross-functional teams spanning engineering, science, and commercial functions.
• Passion for advancing AI adoption in life sciences and making biomedical data more actionable.
