Integrations Manager
Devoted Health
Job Description
A bit about this role:
We can’t transform health care for America’s seniors alone. It requires coordination and information exchange within the healthcare supply chain. If we do it well, we believe we can improve how healthcare is paid for, delivered, and experienced.
The Integrations Manager will be a member of Integration Operations, a hub for electronic transactions, and part of the Product Management Organization. The team manages electronic transactions, the review and creation of data specifications, and operational oversight of Devoted’s system integrations. This role involves technical system design, building domain expertise to ensure business goals are achieved, and vendor and project management to ensure seamless end-to-end integrations.
Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:
Collaborate with Business, Product Management, Engineering, and Data Science teams to scope, build, and scale new system workflows and data exchanges using a variety of technologies, including X12, batch file exchanges over SFTP, and APIs.
Own system and workflow design, data specifications, scoping, development, unit testing, and end-to-end implementation to ensure seamless system integrations.
Test and validate internal workflows, collaborating with business and technical teams on claims processing in the healthcare insurance arena, specifically Medicare Advantage. Apply knowledge of payment integrity, benefit configurations, clearinghouses, payment platforms, pharmacy claims, and interactions with state agencies to ensure accurate and efficient system integrations.
Troubleshoot the performance, quality, and speed of data exchange transactions, while supporting stateside and offshore teams to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely information flows with external partners.
Analyze data to identify workflow, data exchange, and internal process gaps; develop insights and influence stakeholders across Devoted on technical solution and internal processes and tools improvements to improve efficiency, scalability, and product effectiveness.
Partner with vendors and internal business stakeholders to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and CMS compliance requirements are met; serve as the primary liaison between Devoted teams and external vendors.
Define, implement, and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure integration success and operational health.
Create technical and support documentation, standard operating procedures and best practices
Required skills and experience:
6+ years of professional experience in program or project management, preferably within a technical environment.
Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, including standards and methods for healthcare data exchanges (e.g., X12/ANSI, HL7, FHIR, XML, SFTP, APIs), familiarity with regulations and industry best practices, and experience with tools and practices for project tracking, issue management, and reporting (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, or similar).
Strong knowledge of claims processing in healthcare insurance, including Medicare Advantage. Familiarity with benefit configurations, clearinghouses, payment platforms, pharmacy claims, and interactions with state agencies.
Experience with integration project lifecycles, including system design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation monitoring, with knowledge of best practices for workflow automation, batch and real-time data exchanges, and partner/vendor integrations.
Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, derive actionable insights, and develop execution plans, with proficiency in SQL, spreadsheets (e.g., Google Sheets), and data visualization tools for reporting and decision-making.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and critical tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with strong technical acumen and a results-oriented mindset—able to interpret complex requirements, identify solutions, manage technical risks, review processes, uncover improvement opportunities, and drive projects to completion independently.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels, from peers to senior leadership, while incorporating the company’s vision, mission, and values into decision-making.
