SUMMARY:

We are looking for a candidate to fill a short-term Research Associate position in our reagent group. The qualified candidate with work in the Bio-Conjugation Group, preparing buffers, formulating conjugated reagents, and bottling formulated reagents. According to the needs in the group, other tasks such as antibody conjugation and digital documentation, may also be assigned to the candidate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Under the directions of scientists to perform reagent formulation, bottling, and labeling.
• Learn how to use Spectrophotometer, FPLC and other instruments related to reagent manufacturing.
• Learn how to make buffers and prepare other solutions.
• Maintain good and timely documentation of experiments.
• All other tasks and duties assigned as perceived and agreed upon by management.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Full time college student in Chemistry or Life sciences with good academic standing.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Individuals will be required to lift 25lbs without harm.
• Be able to work in a standing position for an hour at a time and be able to position their body without additional support to obtain access to the materials in the lab.
