CHARM Therapeutics seeks a highly driven, proficient and entrepreneurial Director of Engineering to lead the engineering team, in an effort to bring software and deep learning to the forefront of the biopharmaceutical industry.

The Role

• Manage, mentor and grow a team of 4-8 direct reports to deliver on the promise of software applied to drug discovery.
• Collaborate with the medicine design, chemistry and biology groups to identify opportunities to improve the drug discovery process.

Requirements

• BS or MS in computer science or related technical field.
• 10+ years in software engineering.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Experience managing a hiring pipeline.
• Experiencing in delivering exceptional products of significant technical sophistication to end users.
• A genuine passion to apply technology to the application of discovering new medicines for patients. A plus if you have worked in this area already.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey highly technical concepts to a group of interdisciplinary scientists and engineers.
• Excellent knowledge of cloud computing (ideally AWS)
