AI Marketing Specialist
Castor
At Castor, we’re modernizing the backbone of clinical research
Clinical trials are the gatekeepers of human health, yet the industry is still bogged down by fragmented, manual processes that can waste time and exclude patient populations. At Castor, we are building the operating system for the next era of clinical research.
We provide a modular cloud platform designed to run trials end-to-end. Our foundation is a robust Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system, supported by eConsent for recruitment and screening and eCOA to accurately capture patient reported outcomes. We don’t just stop at data collection; we use Castor Catalyst (our high-precision AI automation) to strip away the manual effort that historically makes research slow and expensive.
How we work: Trust over tracking
We are a remote-first company built on the belief that talented people do their best work when they have the agency to manage their own lives. We believe that high performance requires a foundation of trust, health, and cutting-edge support.
- Work-life integration: We don't believe in performative presence. We trust you to own your schedule and show up for your team, while also making space for your life outside of work.
- Deep work & async: We protect your time. We prioritize thoughtful, asynchronous communication so you can focus on solving hard problems without a calendar full of status update meetings.
- Radical candor: We value the truth over hierarchy. We give and receive direct feedback because that’s how we grow—as individuals and as a company.
Your mission and impact
As an AI Marketing Specialist you will be the marketing team’s internal AI architect and problem-solver. Reporting to the CPO, you will identify opportunities where AI can bridge the gap between marketing strategy and technical execution to drive growth. You’ll partner with stakeholders across the commercial organization to understand their bottlenecks, from content production to lead scoring and implement practical, automated solutions.
This is a technical, impact-driven role perfect for someone who loves building systems, connecting APIs, and applying the latest AI technologies in creative ways. You will be the go-to person for turning manual, time-consuming administrative tasks into seamless, intelligent workflows that act as a force multiplier for our elite team.
What you’ll be doing
Systems Architecture:
- Connect and manage the ecosystem of tools (e.g Google Ads, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads, SEM Rush and WordPress) via APIs to create a unified, automated data flow that eliminates silos.
- Maintain and scale API endpoints and low-code/no-code integrations that power proactive lead scoring and audience building.
- Act as the technical owner for our internal marketing tools, wiring them into our central hub to ensure they deliver automated, high-precision commercial insights.
- Collaborate with the team to translate high-level growth strategies into technical requirements and automated experiments.
Autonomous Content Operations:
- Engineer autonomous agents capable of processing raw inputs, such as meeting transcripts or research data, into high-quality, brand-aligned marketing collateral.
- Manage and automate AI elements within the WordPress environment to ensure continuous, hands-off improvements in keyword performance and click-through rates.
- Design systems that ensure automated output for customer-facing documentation and marketing collateral consistently meet high brand standards.
- Continuously identify and replace manual human activity within the growth funnel with smart, AI-driven automation and intelligent workflows.
- Collaborate with the creative team to encode Castor’s unique brand voice and 'editorial DNA' into LLM prompts and agentic workflows.
Data & Insights:
- Eliminate manual reporting by building workflows that deliver proactive, actionable recommendations directly to the commercial team.
- Wire Google Ads and Analytics directly into our agentic systems to ensure the funnel proactively optimizes for high-intent lead generation without manual intervention.
- Leverage AI and automation to effectively reduce manual workloads across the department, acting as a force multiplier for a smaller, elite team.
- Success in this role is measured by the reduction of manual 'admin' hours across the team and the increased velocity of our lead-to-opportunity conversion.
Compliance:
- You will be aware of the Castor quality policy, information security policy, and the procedures from the Quality and Information Security Management system (QISMS);
- You will be following the Castor quality policy, information security policy, the code of conduct and the procedures from the Quality and Information Security Management system (QISMS).
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of personal data.
What you’ll bring
You’ll definitely have:
- 2-4 years in a technical role, with a demonstrated portfolio of custom-built automations or agentic workflows.
- You are a highly technical individual who is more comfortable building systems and API integrations than running traditional marketing playbooks.
- Proven ability to build or implement AI agents that perform multi-step tasks (e.g., using LLMs to process information and output structured marketing collateral).
- Experience connecting disparate systems (Google Ads, Analytics, WP) via APIs to create a unified data flow.
- An entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving, with the ability to translate high-level strategy into technical execution without a step-by-step manual.
- Familiarity with the specific tech stack used by Castor (e.g., Pardot, Jira, Salesforce).
- A drive to eliminate manual work (like weekly content generation or manual Excel reporting) through automation
- Relevant understanding of clinical guidelines: ICH-GCP - Good Clinical Practice, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, and relevant GXP Regulations and Guidances.
It would be nice if you had:
- Experience in a Marketing Operations or Growth-specific technical role.
- A 'Product Mindset'. The ability to treat internal marketing workflows as a product, with a focus on user experience for your teammates.
