Senior Solutions Architect

We’re hiring a Senior Solutions Architect at Castle. I’ve been here 7 years and this is one of the highest-impact roles on the team. You’ll work closely with me (Head of Operations) and Nadia (our current SA) to own the technical side of the customer lifecycle, evaluations, onboarding, support, and long-term adoption.
It’s a hands-on role. You’ll work directly with engineers and security teams at companies like Canva and Rockstar, helping them get real value from our platform. You’ll debug issues, design integration plans, and surface gaps in our product or docs.
There’s also a chance to build tools and internal apps that make us (and our customers) faster. That could mean building small UIs to help customers explore their data, or internal dashboards that improve how we support them. You don’t need to be a full-time engineer, but you must have worked as a software engineer at some point, ideally with a CS degree or equivalent experience, so you can deeply understand the technical tradeoffs our customers face. You should be comfortable writing code when it’s the most efficient way to solve a problem.
What you’ll do
- Own technical relationships across the full customer journey
- Lead implementation planning and support onboarding
- Troubleshoot issues and unblock teams directly
- Build lightweight internal tools and apps where they create leverage
- Surface product feedback from the field to help guide roadmap
What we’re looking for
- 4–7+ years in a technical customer-facing role (SA, SE, etc.)
- Comfortable with APIs, SDKs, auth flows, and writing code when needed
- Strong communicator who doesn’t oversell
- Based in NYC or open to being in the Brooklyn office at least 3 days a week
