The Role:
We’re searching for a consultant who will assist in supporting our operations in Latin America. You will be part of our Global Operations team and work closely with the respective team members for and projects that touch. You will work with the team to conduct country-specific research, including reviewing healthcare providers that will power the local experience of multinational employees and Carrot members across Latin America to use their Carrot benefits.
As an Operations Consultant, you will contribute to:
- Operations Research - Work internally with Global Operations on research for local complexities to support Carrot footprint, multinational employer customer needs, and member inquiries managed by the Care Navigation team, such as internally helping cases related to complex cross-border reproductive care pathways.
- Strategic Problem Solving and Execution - Provide analysis, make recommendations, and then drive a project through to completion.
- External Relationship Management - With support from other members of the Carrot teams, you will assist in speaking and connecting with medical experts as well as fertility clinics, attorneys, and relevant agencies.
Knowledge & Data Management - Leverage your language expertise to conduct research, audits, and reviews of Carrot's global knowledge base and other internal databases.
The Team:
The Global Operations team focuses on the regional, operational, healthcare, and regulatory support of Carrot’s global offerings and programs. The team works collaboratively and cross-functionally across operational, clinical, member, and customer-focused teams to support Carrot’s rapid growth. You will be reporting directly to the Director, Global Operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Efficient and effective research skills
- Ability to focus and deliver on problem-solving
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated process-driven expertise
- Ability to manage ambiguity within a health field
- Consider oneself as highly organized and independent
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Docs, Zoom, PowerPoint, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to other tools and systems as needed for the role
- Empathetic, curious, and confident with strong abilities in relationship building, negotiation, and critical thinking
- Experienced and comfortable working remotely.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional or personal experiences with fertility care, family-forming services, or health care within the regions of Mexico, South, and Central America.
- Additional awareness about other countries in Latin America region is a bonus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and efficiently complete multiple complex projects.
- Experience using a CRM system (like Airtable) to track progress
- Fluent (written and verbal) in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a nice to have)
Compensation:
The starting base salary for this position will range from $40-50 USD/HR. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
