The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to head the Legal function for the CareStack. The role will serve as the primary legal advisor to senior management and provide strategic guidance on legal matters affecting the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel and guidance to senior management on significant legal matters and organisational decisions.
• Lead and oversee the organisation's legal matters across its operations and entities.
• Oversee the end-to-end management of key contracts and agreements, including drafting, review, negotiation and legal risk assessment.
• Lead legal risk management and ensure appropriate compliance with applicable laws, regulations and statutory requirements.
• Provide guidance on corporate governance, entity-related matters and key organisational decisions.
• Advise on investments, fundraising, venture capital financing, M&A, due diligence and other strategic transactions.
• Oversee legal disputes, claims and litigation, and determine the appropriate legal approach in matters affecting the organisation.
• Provide oversight on the protection and management of the organisation's intellectual property.
• Develop and strengthen legal policies, procedures and frameworks across the group.
• Provide legal oversight on significant third-party relationships and related risks.
• Ensure senior management is kept informed of significant legal risks, developments and decisions affecting the organisation.
• Stay current on legal and regulatory developments relevant to the organisation's operations and provide timely guidance to senior management.

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in corporate law, with strong international exposure.
• Juris Doctor degree from accredited, top-tier law school.
• Significant experience handling complex legal matters and advising senior stakeholders.
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and understanding the legal implications of international operations.
• Strong expertise in drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex contracts and agreements.
• Experience in investments, fund transactions, venture capital financing, fundraising, M&A and legal due diligence.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance, legal risk and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing significant legal disputes and litigation matters.
• Knowledge of statutes, rules and regulations applicable to businesses.
• Strong ability to assess legal risk, make sound decisions and provide clear legal guidance in high-stakes situations.
• A strong understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• High standards of integrity, professional ethics and discretion.
