About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join Canary and drive our hiring strategy. This pivotal role is responsible for securing top-tier talent and ensuring we attract, hire, and maintain a robust talent pipeline necessary to fuel our rapid growth. The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience at fast-growing technology companies. Experience recruiting for technical roles is a huge plus. We are looking for an energetic self-starter eager to be hands-on with full-cycle recruiting while simultaneously helping to build out and scale our Talent Acquisition function.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate strategically with senior leaders and hiring managers to design, implement, and execute a scalable recruitment process
  • Manage the content, posting, and distribution of open requisitions across diverse job boards, professional networks, and social media channels
  • Conduct highly proactive and targeted candidate sourcing to build robust talent pipelines for critical roles, particularly within the technical domain
  • Screen and evaluate candidate resumes and applications to assess qualifications and fit
  • Efficiently schedule and coordinate phone, virtual, and in-person interviews, managing complex calendars for all parties
  • Process all position requisitions and meticulously manage records of all applications, resumes, and internal job postings
  • Utilize, maintain, and serve as the expert user of the ATS to track applicants, ensure data integrity, and continuously improve recruitment processes
  • Administer pre-employment testing and conduct comprehensive reference checks as required
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, promptly addressing questions and guiding them through the interview process
  • Ensure an exceptional, high-touch candidate experience that reflects positively on the Canary brand
  • Own and strategically manage relationships with external recruiting agencies across all departments
  • Provide data-driven insights and reporting on the Talent Attraction function, covering key metrics such as funnel conversion, source performance, and retention

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business Administration or related field or equivalent years of experience
  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing applicants for SaaS companies. Experience with technical recruiting is a huge plus.
  • Experience with Lever, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Google Suite is preferred
  • Comfort with ambiguity, autonomy, and responsibility; a self-starter who enjoys figuring out what needs to be done and then executing on it
  • Experience in recruiting for fast-growing SaaS organizations
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills

95000 - 125000 USD a year

The base salary range for this role is $95,000-$125,000 annualized salary. This is subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. Actual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s skill level, experience, and specific work location. This role may also include the opportunity to earn a discretionary bonus and/or equity.
