To lead and deliver end-to-end analytics implementations by providing deep technical expertise across SQL, integrations, automation, and monitoring, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions that drive measurable customer outcomes

Responsibilities:

  • Lead medium–high complexity analytics implementations and integrations end-to-end, serving as technical/solution lead for assigned engagements.
  • Handle ambiguous or incomplete requirements by driving discovery, clarifying needs, and proposing practical solution options.
  • Design and optimize complex SQL transformations, stored procedures, functions, and data models for performance and reliability.
  • Architect and enforce secure data access using row-level security, RBAC, and access-control best practices across environments.
  • Design dashboards, monitoring, alerting, and reporting strategy using Grafana (or similar), ensuring operational visibility and data quality.
  • Build/extend integration patterns using REST APIs, including robust validation, error handling, observability, and supportability.
  • Develop lightweight tooling and automation in Python or JavaScript to accelerate delivery, reduce manual work, and improve consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve high-impact issues across SQL/API/dashboard layers; perform root-cause analysis and implement preventative fixes.
  • Define, improve, and document reusable implementation patterns, runbooks, and technical standards within the pillar.
  • Mentor and guide IC1–IC3 engineers across projects; provide technical reviews, unblock teams, and escalate risks appropriately.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Chemical Engineering or other relevant science degrees are an added advantage. Time spent in the lab and understanding of lab workflows is a plus.
  • 6+ years of experience in analytics implementation, data/BI engineering, integration engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
  • Expert-level SQL skills (complex query design, tuning, indexing strategy, query planning, and data modeling).
  • Strong hands-on experience with stored procedures, UDFs/functions, and scalable transformation patterns.
  • Proven experience implementing row-level security, RBAC, and secure data delivery in enterprise contexts.
  • Strong experience with Grafana or equivalent (dashboards, alerting, monitoring/reporting).
  • Deep experience with REST API integrations (auth patterns, pagination, retries/error handling, observability).
  • Proficiency with Python or JavaScript for scripting, automation, and internal tooling; automation mindset strongly preferred.
  • Cloud exposure required; AWS strongly preferred (IAM concepts and operational monitoring familiarity).
