Overview
TraceLink is seeking a senior business leader with demonstrated experience involving the scoping, planning, and execution of drug recalls at manufacturers, pharmacies, and/or hospital systems. This role will work within TraceLink’s business strategy group. It will be focused on enabling internal and external stakeholders to engage more effectively with customers and prospects for TraceLink’s Digital Recalls solution.
Over the last decade, TraceLink has built the world's largest cloud-based digital network of integrated supply chain stakeholders in the Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors. Using its next-generation low-/no-code network development platform, Opus, TraceLink enables more than 1,300 customers and 290,000 trade partners across the supply chain to connect and exchange interoperable supply chain information to protect patients and enhance business results through end-to-end supply chain digitalization.
Reporting Structure
The Principal Business Technology Consultant will report directly to the General Manager, Track and Trace & Compliance.
Responsibilities
Advise and collaborate on strategic product and market requirements for TraceLink’s recall management solutions and adjacent solutions are based on industry experience, customer feedback, and market analysis.
Provide customer-facing expert perspective, including on calls, conferences, and marketing materials such as webinars.
Provide insight on the pharmaceutical recall services and solution competitive landscape and help translate those insights into high-quality educational and training materials.
Analyze current industry trends and customer processes across various business functions (e.g., Operations, Supply Chain, Compliance, etc.) to provide input customer-facing messaging and materials.
Provide guidance and feedback to TraceLink’s Sales and Solution Consulting teams on their process mapping, solution blueprinting, and value workshopping processes and outputs to achieve enhanced results in customer engagements.
Collaborate with Customer Success and Professional Services as they create processes and materials that demonstrate the customer’s realized value during implementation and proposed future projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Pharm-D a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in the scoping, planning, or executing pharmaceutical recalls at a pharmaceutical manufacturer, wholesaler/distributor, health system, or retail pharmacy -or- at a service, logistics, or software solution provider.
Deep understanding of recall compliance requirements and best practices according to the FDA
Knowledge of recall processes in adjacent industries, such as medical devices and food & beverage, is a plus.
Ability to identify and articulate market trends impacting TraceLink’s product positioning and strategic direction.
Strong teamwork, communication, and cross-group collaboration skills are a must.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Solid organizational and time management skills.
Ability to communicate and interact with senior executives.
Additional language skills are a plus.
Travel expectation of 10-25% focused on strategic customer engagements orchestrated by TraceLink sales team members.
